HOLY EXPLETIVE

I was vaguely aware of a surprise coming. Frankly, I was expecting a new pair of earrings, or a big beautiful kitchy dragon that he had made.

I still don't know why or how I deserve Travis.

We had a big dinner at his folks, where we got some great Christmas presents. I've never been so excited at getting a coupon book! After all the Christmas presents were done, Travis meekly says "oh wait, I think I forgot one...close your eyes"

Lo and behold, it was a cintiq.

(For those far-off friends and family,) A cintiq is the top of the line LCD Tablet, or rather, I can DRAW DIRECTLY ON THE SCREEN WITH A STYLUS. The difference of quality and ease of drawing with this tool as opposed to my regular tablet is monumental. More so, now I can create illustrations far more faster, easier, and more precisly than with my old tablet.

I was so surprised, and apparently there are pictures of my face going from confusion, to disbelief, to shock, to joy. I can't believe I bawled in from of all the Talburts. I still feel surprised.
