Obama

Last night one of my roommates knocked on our door, and mumble-shouted "Obama won"

I felt both relieved and not surprised. Second time I got to vote for the presidential election, first time my choice won.

It did not settle in until this morning, until after chatting for an hour with my cubicle mates about his win.
I sat down with my coffee, and youtubed the victory speech. I cannot help but be grateful, celebrate, and hope that Obama follows through with his platforms and plans for our country. I hope he becomes my Teddy Roosevelt.
