I'm either working too fast or they're not giving me enough to do

Interesting facts I learned at work today:

-The single B-29 plane that carried out the secret mission of the 1945 bombing of Hiroshima, was nick named "Enola Gay" by the commander of the plane; after his mother.

-There are no conclusive findings of the origin and name of Butterscotch candy.

-Benjamin Franklin invented the glass harmonica.

-During the construction of a reservoir in Mologa, Russia, the town was evacuated and engulfed by water in the 1940’s. The Monks, however, still went out in boats to the few showing cross-crowned belfries to hold religious services.

-“Noodling” is the sport or practice of catching catfish using only your bare hands.

-Two of the first synthetic pigments were “white lead” and “blue frit” (Egyptian Blue).

-“Armalite” is a small arms manufacturing company. (Twice the killing, half the calories!)
