It's overwhelming sometimes when I think of the amount of time and energy it takes to be a worthwhile illustrator. Focusing on that alone, I feel I can do it. But I need to have a job and clean my apartment sometime too.

Is it this demanding for other degrees or careers? When my sister was in college for her... Associates in Business? (correct me if I'm wrong, sis,) Was it necessary for her do dedicate a number of hours a day to practice, on top of classes and a job? Am I going to be thirty or more before I'm a recognized artist?

I'm saying all this now because I know these issues are coming up. I have it way too easy right now, and I'm trying to sober up for my final year at Cornish.

And in a panic, I've done some art and updated my website with it.
