Best Weekend of the year

Close your eyes... and imagine wine, beer, a spa, an outlet mall, and the beach.

Wrap all of these up and eat them all weekend!
well...maybe not the outlet mall and spa...and beach...but we pretty much absorbed those too.

For my sister's Bachelorette party we and three other fabulous women went to Lincoln City. On our way we sampled wine from a couple wineries, which marked the first time I truly appreciated wine as wine and not something to get drunk off of.
After we arrived at our cabin, we went to McMenamins, then the local Casino, and of course proceeded to make ourselves (or at least myself) extremely intoxicated.

Next morn, after a nibble of bacon we went to the outlet mall for a bit, the wonderland for shoppers everywhere. Came to the Salishan resort, ate, more drinking, and more shopping. After dropping off my sister for her spa massage, we remaining ladies, oh my lord, did more shopping.

I managed to nab a dragon (thanks to my sister), and coffee-curing-hangovers, which tops off the weekend vacation nicely.
Also, I dearly need to go shopping with Shannon sometime, she rocks and we wear the same color palette and size jeans like mad.

Now comes the wedding, finally. After two years, I think the bride and groom and their families are ready. Or at least, they better well be.

good gawd, It will be hard to top this weekend. I'm still digesting some of the marvelous food I ate.

And I have taken FOREVER to post this entry. It's taken me a week to write this because as soon as I returned to work they had me take 160 new student's pictures and print their IDs for them, stuff came up at the zoo for me to do, yadda yadda yadda I have even more excuses if you ask.
I also just got a cold. *sniff*
