my precious
For the first time since the ownership of, I have misplaced my cell phone. Dangit.
No worries, for when I called my phone a nice woman answered. She not only had found my phone, but was looking for the owner. I will be meeting her today at four to get my precious back.
Shame on me, for she found it on the street of all places. It must have chosen this one instance to fall out of the pocket that I normally keep it in. weird.
This is a given, but I'm going to state it anyways. My cellphone, (as well as my laptop, and arguably my coffee thermos,) owns me. This morning when I discovered my cell was no where in the apartment, a little paranoid voice in my head couldn't stop chattering; Oh my gawd...someone could be calling me RIGHT NOW and I CAN'T answer my phone. I then proceeded to laugh at myself, for then I realized the level of my dependency on cell phones was ridiculous.
I have a landline number though. Funny enough no one has it, because, why would anyone need it if I have a cell phone? heh.
When I get my cell back I'll start giving it out.
On another note, I've also been training (breaking in) my new boss at my I.T. workstudy job. I guess my old boss thought it would be efficient (or funny?) to just train him with computer stuff, and leave the rest to me.
anyways,
peace
